Desk Sputter Coater

The DST1-300 features a 300 mm chamber for uniform coatings of semiconductors, dielectrics, and metals. It supports 2, 3, or 4-inch water-cooled cathodes, ideal for large specimens (up to 15 cm) or multiple smaller samples.

Exceptional Sputtering Capabilities DST1-300

The DST1-300 allows unlimited sputtering time for thick layer deposition. It features a single magnetron target with a 600 W DC power supply or an optional 300 W RF power supply with an auto-matching box. This high-vacuum system supports a wide range of materials, including metals (e.g., Au, Pt/Pd, Ag, Cr, W, Ir), metal oxides (e.g., TiO₂, ZnO), and dielectrics, making it ideal for thin-film applications in micro/nanoelectronics and SEM sample preparation.

  • DST1-L, Turbo – Pumped Desktop Sputter Coater:
    The large chamber Single magnetron water cooled desktop sputter coater model DST1-L is Vac Coats’ larger coating system having a separate control rack, with ability to coat semiconductors, dielectrics and metals (oxidizing and non-oxidizing). Uniform thin films with fine-grain sizes are formed in a fast cycle time. equipped with a single magnetron cathode with diameter of the cathode could be 2-4 inches depending on the requirement, RF, sample heating upgrades available.
  • DST2, Turbo – Pumped Desktop Dual Sputter Coater:
    The large chamber Duel magnetron cathode, water-cooled, is ideally suitable for coating large specimens with diameters of up to 15 cm, or multiple smaller specimens over a similar diameter. The unlimited sputtering time makes it suitable for deposition of thick layer. The system is equipped with 800 W DC power supplies, 300 W RF power supply (optional) with matching box. The system can deposit wide ranges of materials on different surfaces for thin film applications such as Micro & Nano electronic and SEM sample preparation.

  • ​​DST3: Turbo – Pumped Desktop triple Sputter Coater:
    The large chamber DST3 3  2” magnetron cathodes, water-cooled, is ideally suitable for coating large specimens with diameters of up to 15 cm, or multiple smaller specimens over a similar diameter. The unlimited sputtering time makes it suitable for deposition of thick layer. The system is equipped with 800 W DC power supplies, 300 W RF power supply (optional) with matching box. The system can deposit wide ranges of materials on different surfaces for thin film applications such as Micro & Nano electronic and SEM sample preparation

Clean Vacuum of
DST1-300

The DST1-300 features a cylindrical Pyrex vacuum chamber, a 90 L/s turbomolecular pump, and a 6 m³/h two-stage rotary vane pump. This setup ensures a clean vacuum environment, free from the oil contamination common with diffusion pumps.

Sample Holder
DST1-300

The DST1-300 features rotatable sample holder stages with adjustable height and angle. The standard holder is easy to change, ensuring flexibility for various sample requirements.

Touch Screen Control

The DST1-300 is equipped with a 7” colored touch screen and full automatic control using a user-friendly software to control and adjust the deposition process data. The vacuum and coating sequence information can be observed as digital data or curves on the touch screen. The last 300 coatings information is saved on the history page.
